I decided to make the baby size because my friend had JUST told me she was pregnant and I knew this would be the PERFECT pattern. (aka two birds with one stone)
I had also just won a fat-eighth bundle at my guild. (the pattern is fat-eighth friendly) So it seemed like all around perfect timing!

The quilt turned out amazingly!! The size is PERFECT for a baby size quilt and the range of colors (everything from baby pink for the traditionalists to black just to mix it up a bit)
After SIX months of this quilt just hanging out I FINALLY dropped the quilt off at the quilters for quilting. After discussing potential point to point design options we landed on a design called cotton candy (which matches the label).

Here is the quilt round up:
- Pattern: South East West Quilt by Schneider House Quilt Studio
- Fabric: Carolyn Friedlander — Carkai and Kona Cotton — White
- Quilting: Long Arm Quilted by Cosmic Quilting
- Label: Cotton Candy by Slice of Pi Quilts
