I love being able to make these customized to each person that I make them for. This one is also the first one that I attempted to do realistic hair for. The braids were a good way to wade into doing realistic hair on these portraits, I am excited to try other hairstyles on future portraits!!

This is also the first time I finished a cross stitch using fabric and sticky board. I loosely followed the Stitching with the Housewives finishing tutorial, the main difference is I added the rope trim in-between my stitching layer and the fabric layer and I added two layers of batting to the layer with the stitching.
